Aid for Higher Education in Affected Areas
An organization looking to help aid higher secondary students whose studies might have been disrupted.
We are new to AAPIP and immigrant group funding and we do not generally
fund overseas, so I am seeking some guidance. We know that billions of
dollars are pouring in to help with immediate needs for the tsunami relief.
Do any of you have information about charities, colleges or organizations
that are thinking about re-building or education needs yet? Since our
mission is to expand access to postsecondary education, we might be
interested in providing funding for students whose lives have been disrupted
by the tsunami or school re-building efforts in the 11 countries.
Any ideas (of organizations or other education-related needs) and
suggestions are appreciated.
