The march made its way from Nizammudin to Kingsway Camp stopping at Rajghat, on the way. The response from Delhi has been overwhelming.

What is usually a 2 hour walk lasted over 4 hours with the marchers stopping to talk to enthusiastic by-standers who wanted to know more about the march and talk about indo pak peace.

The marchers have undertaken a signature campaign from communities along the route – you pay Re 1 to sign. People have responded in large numbers.

At Rajghat, the marchers stopped to pay their respects at the Gandhiji’s memorial. There were discussions and conversations at Rajghat with eminent personalities including Mahesh Bhatt, Nandita Das, Nafisa Ali, Meera, etc participating.

The march reached Kingsway Camp later in the afternoon where the marchers rested for a while before going on talk to people in the local bazaars. The response, again, were beyond expectations with people reacting to this message of love and peace in a positive way.

The marchers themselves have been inspired by the march; the energy of the marchers is unbelievable. Bobby described one instance where a retired professor – Shri Ramneek Mohan – who is part of the march has been staying up till 3 in the morning making placards after a full days march in the hot sun. Another man – over 90 years of age – walked with the others over the first two days of the march.
