Please Stop Bombing the Sea
Ankita, a reader of thesouthasian, wrote to our comments page with a note to the President of India. We felt we needed to carry it verbatim.
Respected President of India,
well sir it's know fact that u are going to visit visakhapatnam to visit the naval show, which will be going to take place on 12th feb 2006.
sir, as the navy people are practising for 12th feb which i have see in the television and that made come to the internet and write to you. I am simply schoked seeing that they are simply bombing in the sea as a part of practise. so sir it my kind request that please ask them not to do such operations because the world under the sea will get effected because of that.
As its our responsibility to protect them so we cant do that. so sir you just think about this and take right steps well i am expecting the good thing from ur side ok . please forgive me if i have talked in a wrong way
