Ravinder Singh’s note to the President of India

Dear Mr. President,

I down loaded and read you speech on “Corruption And Human Rights” delivered to an audience of largely physically and mentally retired people who either did nothing in their lifetime to fight corruption or support whistle blowers or were simply corrupt.

Real whistle blowers and corruption fighters were not even invited to Conference On Corruption. It is basically a conference of “Unfit and Unsuitable People” who tend to encroach on “Corruption” turf where they were on sidelines all their life.

People who were floating on sea of corruption in India or were watching the sea of corruption from coastlines are now sharing their experiences in Vigyan Bhawan. That’s why whistle blowers and corruption free organizations were kept out. They are actually discussing how the pond of corruption had become an ocean in their lifetime in India. Such things can’t be discussed in open.

Sir, you are “Conned And Duped” by corrupt and thugs in the country every day.

In the speech written for you to read “Corrupt Want To Be Treated With Love In India” and it’s the school children, who may tell their “Corrupt” parents to be honest- when even letter of SKD don’t wake up the PM how children will know their parents are corrupt. Such kind of funny ideas will not eradicate corruption from India.

In the case of river link I have asked a simple question “Why can’t we grow 30 MT food in Ganga Basin and transport it on rails than investing $150b on unviable and undesirable project”.

Since K.L. Rao’s dubious idea was proposed in 70’s this loot program is propped up again and again.

Simple barrages and inexpensive canals than Rs. 20,000 crores Ken Betwa link project can easily divert Narmada Waters in to both Ken and Betwa rivers.

But it will shock you to learn that instead of 0.6 maf of smaller river to larger Betwa, around 2 maf each can be easily diverted and that much more beneficial to the states.

Even bigger shock to you is that such projects could have been undertaken to coincide with dams build in the Narmada basin.

Sir, it is not love but “Solid Danda” that is required to make India corruption free. Ambanis when caught red handed in the act of “Re-routing” international calls and let off with a fine of just Rs. 100 crores when magnitude of loss suffered by state telecoms was in thousands of crores, sent a message that India is a soft state and entire government machinery is sold out to the corrupt.

Ambanis who ought to have been jailed for 10 years for grand treason or robbery have in fact succeeded in corrupting the key elements of government machinery.

But the biggest “Corruption Case” of your tenure was “Fraud In GQ and NHAI Projects”. Satyendra Kumar Dubey blew the whistle on a mega loot of Rs. 25,000 crores.

Contracts secured by large companies were outsourced at 50% to 60% discount to subcontractors. Though the letter was marked to The PM Atal Behari Vajpayee but he “Silenced The Whitle Blown By SKD” and letter was forwarded to the very people indulging in grand fraud.

CVC even reprimanded SKD for writing directly to the PM, as it is a mechanism devised by the government to act as a silencer to all whistle blowing. 90% or more of the complaints are put in garbage on excuse of whistle blower not declaring their identity. Other 10% are intimidated and investigation delayed to a point that all the evidence is wiped clean.

People serving the government did nothing positive and people outside were even smarter. Even though Bihar government directed CBI to investigate the charges but two similar PILs were filed about 70 days apart. Both asking the Supreme Court to limit investigation to Bihar section only when SKD termed as “Great Loot Of Public Money”.

Father of SKD was conned to file a PIL jointly with Parivartan to investigate Rs. 600 crores fraud in Bihar section under the charge of his lost son.

Such is the absurdity and level of corruption that firstly government failed to discharge its function to act on the complaint and then let “Proxy PILs To Deflect The Investigation”.

People who advised SKDF to file dubious PILs were none other than Admiral Tehliani, N. Vittal, Jeevan Reddy and Parivartan etc.

Tamasha being in-acted in Vigyan Bhawan in it self is Corruption by keeping out real whistle blowers and waste of public money.

India need Dhanda and special courts to dismiss and jail corrupt public servants, politicians and award “Death Penalty” when fraud amount exceed Rs. 100 crores.

And reward Whistle Blowers at a rate of 10% of loot value. Whistle blowers are mentally very tough and can hire people to protect them.

Let “Corruption Free India” Be A National Passion.
