No Follow Up on SK Dubey’s Charges

Ravinder Singh povertyfree77ATyahooDOTcom points out that there has been no follow up on S K Dubey’s charges in his letter to the Government of India.

Friends,
We failed to follow up the “Expose Of Corruption In NHAI Projects” in his letter to the PM of November11, 2002 and very well covered by this article in Indian Express .

It is amazing GOI who ought to have ensured such corruption never take place and jump on the leads actually slept on the issues.

Since I didn’t have the letter of SKDF except the scanned 10 pages in early 2003, in my recent message observed that advance was 10% but actually another 10% as equipment advance was also given when works were subcontracted @56% means for every Rs. 100 crores, Rs.20 crores was given as mobilizing and equipment advance which the successful bidders simply pocket and shared with Government Officials, subcontractors had their own equipment and resources.

For every Rs.56 crores of works executed by sub-contractors, Rs. 44 crores went to successful bidders.

THIS IS 78% INFRUCTUOUS EXPENDITURE.

But there is no investigation and follow up.

Ravinder Singh
